Safe Work Australia has announced that the 2024 National Safe Work Month (NSWM) is themed "Safety is everyone’s business". The theme highlights the importance of a safe and healthy working environment across all industries.
Weekly topics
Each week revolves around a different work health and safety topic. Based on last years consultation feedback, this year the topics are:
- Week 1: Work health and safety fundamentals
- Week 2: Psychosocial hazards
- Week 3: Risk management fundamentals
- Week 4: Musculoskeletal injuries
SafeTea campaign
The popular SafeTea sub-campaign will make a return this year, encouraging workplaces to gather and discuss WHS over a cup of tea. Resources for SafeTea will be launched in the coming months.
