Offshore Safety Conference Heads to Perth

As the current chair of the International Regulators Forum (IRF), NOPSEMA has the honour of hosting the 2023 IRF Offshore Safety Conference in Perth.

To be held on 3 and 4 October at the Westin in the Perth CBD, the conference will bring together 11 offshore petroleum regulators from around the world to discuss mutual challenges and opportunities and drive continuous improvement in safety outcomes.

The conference program is being finalised and will include plenaries as well as smaller sessions featuring a wide variety of international thought leaders, key industry and regulatory figures from both inside and outside of the IRF membership.

While it’s a must attend for those working in health and safety, and a unique opportunity to network with regulatory officials from around the world, the themes and issues tackled should be of interest to all those working in the offshore oil and gas industry.

Additionally, in the preceding week, the IUF will be holding its AGM in Perth, as will the IRF and IOPER during Conference week itself, ensuring that the Western Australian capital will be a regulatory hotspot for that fortnight.
