The Work Health and Safety Commission has released new codes of practice addressing psychosocial hazards, violence, and aggression in the workplace.
Mentally healthy workplaces
The Work Health and Safety Commission has issued a series of codes of practice which focus on different areas where psychosocial as well physical harms may be experienced in a workplace.
The most recent publications which apply to workplaces covered by the Work Health and Safety laws are:
- Code of practice – Violence and aggression at work
- Code of practice – Workplace behaviour
- Code of practice – Psychosocial hazards in the workplace
Health and Safety representatives – Information sheets
The department has released a series of information sheets for health and safety representatives which provide guidance on:
- Health and safety representative powers, functions and rights
- Provisional improvement notices (PINs) and direction to stop unsafe work
- Electing health and safety representatives
Minesafe International Conference 2022
AusIMM will be holding its MineSafe International Conference 2022 on 4 – 5 May 2022.
