WorkSafe Tasmania Month: Join the free events online or in-person

Don't miss the opportunity to participate in the WorkSafe Tasmania Month 2023, a series of free in-person and online events that will run from the 2nd to 30th October. The theme of this year’s WorkSafe Month is "Safe Bodies, Safe Minds: Working together to ensure workers return home safe and well every day".

Additionally, you can also attend the Health and Safety Representative (HSR) Conference, a full-day event that will feature keynote speakers, breakout sessions, and networking opportunities for HSRs and their managers. You can view the program of events (PDF) and full event calendar here.

How to register?

Registration is easy and free. You can register online here. If you want to register a group of people, you can use the group template and email it to alison.gumley@justice.tas.gov.au. You will receive a confirmation email once your group registration is processed.

Where to attend?

WorkSafe Month 2023 events are held in various locations across Tasmania, as well as online. You can attend the events that suit your schedule and location preferences. A full list of locations can be viewed here.The online events will be delivered using GoToWebinar. For this, you will need a stable internet connection and a device that can access the platform. What else should I know?

Here is some additional information that may be useful for you:

• Coffee and tea will be available at all in-person sessions. Food will only be provided at the HSR Conference and during lunchtime sessions. Please advise on dietary requirements at the time of registration. Where food is not provided, you will need to make your own arrangements.
• In-person attendees will receive a WorkSafe Month notepad and pen. Additional resources will be provided at selected sessions.
• All participants who attend a WorkSafe Month event receive a certificate of attendance.
